I like this little debate. Some people get upset that people their works and don't leave a comment. That's pretty ridiculous. I myself almost never comment on a piece I , but I will comment on one I don't. I kind of thought thats how it works.

Now I don't know about the new system, but I know the old one was if your piece was ladden with comments; you were doomed to never being on the front page. So it was actually nicer for you to just a piece and move on. The more the closer you got to the front page.

I personally don't like a million comments on my pieces, or 12 reply long conversations going on. I prefer just a . I do like the occasional comment though to further boost my ego to the heavens. I love how you could be an art rock star on here, but in the real world not be anyone, not gain any recognition. That's kind of why I still want to quit DA. This site is superficial at times and just plain annoying. There are way too many people on here now, it doesn't have that friendly feel anymore. I guess you could say DA just doesn't get me off anymore...

I don't know, I guess it doesn't really matter anymore with the new system, though I don't get what rules they've changed about 's.
